THE END OF A MARRIAGE

Marriage is supposed to be a lifetime commitment. Unfortunately, a great majority of marriages end up in divorce. I am a partner with Restivo, Reilly and Vigil-Farinas, LLC, a female law firm In the beautiful island of Key Largo. I have been practicing family law in Florida for 20 years, the last 10 years in Key Largo, the first in a series of islands at the end of South Florida.  I love to write and this blog is meant to share stories, some funny, some not so funny, of divorce cases in our office; to share some law and some advice. Obviously the names are changed, but the stories are real. I am hoping to help people understand divorce from an attorney's perspective or, if nothing else, to provide some entertaining stories!! So grab a cup of coffee, put your feet up and join us! EVERY CASE IS DIFFERENT!!! DESPITE THE COMMON ELEMENTS OF ANGER, HURT, FRUSTRATION AND THE NEED FOR REVENGE, NO TWO CASES ARE THE SAME AND THIS BLOG IS NOT INTENDED TO GIVE ADVICE IN ANY PARTICULAR CASE.
